Rooted in the Nordic darkness of metal, industrial and classical music as well as sound system culture, Gruth is an electroacoustic music project of Juha Puuperä. The sound has evolved from forward-thinking techno, ritual ambient and doom-industrial to long-form "sound paintings" where improvised long takes and field recordings are layered and slowly evolving.
